Mr Gibson Mawira

Program Coordinator, Performing Arts & Culture

He is Assistant Lecturer, Department of Music. He is Coordinator, African Artist Peace Initiative (AAPI), and was National Coordinator of Arterial Network –Kenya.

He holds a BEd Arts/Music from Kenyatta University (2000), a Master of Arts in Cultural and Creative Industry Management from Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK (2011) and is currently pursuing a PhD in Creative and Cultural Industries at TUK.
He has over 14 years of experience in music education, music industry management and Arts Administration.

Ms Flora Mutere
Coordinator, Multimedia Arts & Technologies

Flora Mutere-Okuku received a Bachelor of Education (Fine Art) degree Kenyatta University, went on to graduate with a Master of Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah, Georgia, USA in Computer Art. 2005 she lectured in Multimedia Design at The Francistown College of Technical and Vocational Education (FCTVE) Botswana, writing courseware and teaching. Flora won a competition brief to locate a winning identity for the new TVET Campus.

She relocated in December 2008 to Nairobi.

In 2009 Flora exhibited two pieces in Kenya’s biggest wildlife public art exhibition - an art  display coordinated by the Born Free Foundation in collaboration with Wild in Art Pride of Kenya project, raising funds for wild lion conservation.

Flora freelances as a Multimedia artist, her latest work includes brand design for various clients; real estate, school, non-governmental organisations and television production company. She draws inspiration from the various cultures she has been privileged to come across in her travels, her work is a fusion of these experiences. Online portfolio: www.nguye.webs.com
